Forgive me if this pair doesn't necessarily fall under the Buzz brand name, but I wanted to know the general consensus on the SExT17 Jungle Cloth pants. SE has one pair of black left in my size and I have wanted these for a long time, but does anyone know how black is the color? Does the fabric stretch? Fade? It seems like some tough stuff and I've been wanting a pair of non-denim pants. Thanks guys.

I would ask tyler@selfedge.com. He posted a picture on Instagram and his brother was wearing a pair that looked very worn, I'm sure he'd be happy to help you out.

Based on my experience with the khaki and black SE Jungle pants, fabric stretch in the waist is about 1 inch.  It's sort of a matted deep black color.  Fabric is very tough and durable and has this flannel like qualities in the inside.
Haven't seen much fading on the black but the Khaki had lightened up a bit.  if SE has your size, I would recommend it.  BR has perfected the gros-grain art.

let me know if you have any other questions…

Sorry for the quick pic, but I was in a hurry to show off my new pants. Again I know these aren't technically under the BR name but I figured it fit here well enough. These have a clean silhouette and I will probably keep them with a cuff to show off the red seam taping (beautiful contrast). The fabric itself is THE BOMB. It is smooth and even on the outside, but the inside is like an incredibly soft felt (just like as described on SE). I wore them to a barbecue tonight and even though it was in the mid 80s and humid, I wasn't uncomfortable. I don't think they will be my first choice when it gets over 100*, but until then I"m going to get some good use out of them!

Wicked excited that these were restocked at Self Edge. It arrived today and thank god it fit. I wanted a snug fit as it looks pretty bulky to begin with. All around I'm very happy with the fit. It's going to get a lot of use this winter.

That's one amazing piece you have there and I think that you nailed the fit. I won't be buying much next year but if I do this has bumped up a notch on my want list. Detail pics when you have the time 🙂

A few more. I was pretty toasty on the bike with the exception of my neck. Then again it's Dec so it should be too cold to ride.

                                The only branding or graphic

The pen slots are so over engineered. There are brass stoppers which feel like bullets built in to prevent punctures.

The zipper is enourmous and heavy duty

Just got an n-1.  Very nice jacket.  I've been hunting for a decent original for years but I finally decided to get a historically correct repro.
