Who Skates?

I used to live to skate back in the day …. not so much now. Still have 5 full setups including a longboard which I break out occasionally when no ones watching

I skated from age 12-17.  I got pretty good (locally sponsored good), but then I got a car and girls were interested in that and I pretty much quit.  Not sure if I have any pictures because other people always took them, and I don't talk to anyone from high school anymore.  I still have two skateboards, one is the "Monster" Board that CCS sold at one time, with monster truck wheels etc, and one regular no name board with tensor trucks.  My bulldog rides them now.

Awesome.  I skate, although tore my ACL a couple months back and had surgery this past wednesday. 13ft deep bowl in NZ while on a trip with the wife.  First day of physical therapy was today.  Not as bad as I thought it would be. Been deckshredding for about 22 years, guess it's about time my knee went.  I'll try to find some pics at some point.

good luck on your recovery,  Stokely.  i've shredded both of my knees before.  recovery takes time but you'll be back before you know it.

friend is buying  place with a kidney bean shaped pool that goes to 15ft.  guess who's going to hit it before he gets it resurfaced

i did the same thing a few years back.  the rehab was the worst part,  just wanting to skate but knowing you arent ready yet.    Yoga helped a TON.  Good luck man.  Did you ride that bowl in Wellington?  That thing is pretty fun.

That Groholski is siiick. Always loved that dude.  I think one of my first Thrasher's had a photo of him grinding over vert at the Old Farm Ramp in Raleigh, NC.

i live in Salem, Ma but i grew up in Virginia Beach so im down that way alot.    obx has been a serious skate destination for a few years now.

the grindline park in norfolk just opened this week and it looks SICK.
