    @specmvl:

SD HH about one year old. Regular but far from daily use.

Looking at these in British Tan, undecided now!

What is the spec for these, please.

Ditto on the boots @aho - really nice.  what exactly makes them a "hunter"?  They "look like" plain toe SJs with the honey vibram 100 sole.  Love the honey vibram sole btw - that was a great touch - you don't see it much!

P.S. is it celastic or natural toe?  hard to tell from pics.

Isn't the Bounty Hunter just a Smoke Jumper on the Semi Dress last?

If I ever get around to ordering another pair of White's, I think they'll be in the Red Dog leather.  I really like that color.

              Yup

Thanks guys, I'm really enjoying this pair. Even with the leather lining these boots haven't been hard to break in at all and there's been no discomfort (granted, I've only been wearing them 8 hours so far today). The honey lug is seemingly lighter than the normal #100 Vibram (despite being 10" these are more agile and don't hurt my knees compared with my 7" SJ's with the #100 sole which I definitely feel after a few hours) and isn't as clunky feeling. Regarding the "Hunter" moniker, this is an actual "Hunter" model that White's sells (http://www.whitesboots.com/index.php?dispatch=categories.view&category_id=449) which is different from the Baker's "Bounty Hunter". I believe the last to be the same as an SJ though, and these are indeed plain toe/no celastic.

Thanks, i thought they made a hunter model.  Agree it looks like SJ last, squarish toe.  Post some pics after that toe starts to get some wear, evolve…

Just a few pics of my brown smooth Farmer-Ranchers as the leather starts to break in. About one year old now, worn once or twice a week on average.

@TH3515 What last is the Farmer-Ranchers on? Have you treated the leather with anything at all?

Smokejumper last, soft toe, Vibram 700. The only difference to an SJ being the sole…
I used the White's HDLP that came with the boots, but only 2-3 times, just a thin coat and lots of brushing afterwards. Last time was just a few days ago, after I had to wash them as they were completely covered in greenish-brown mud;-)

The Farmer-Rancher has low-profile soles to avoid carrying too much mud, manure and other stuff into the house. Which makes sense when you look at a Smokejumper after a little tour on slightly wet footpaths…

Extra points for identifying the record cover in the background 😉

Tractor sole + mud = bloody mess.

I've really taken to Whites. In my opinion as good, if not better than Wesco. Very solid, very comfortable. I will be ordering a couple of more pairs once my bank account recovers from the festive season.
Here are my Bounty Hunters, dress brown, nat CXL pill loop, vibram 100 sole. Solid boots.
The other pair are semi dress in nat CXL, single mid, block heel, close trim, comp half sole. Love them both…

Wow, both are very nice, I esp. like the BHs with the natty cxl loop (I'm a curved heel man).  So many nice boots, so few feets!
