I am a early thirties lawyer / Japanese denim fanatic who has been following the scene for about 6 mo since the purchase of some s5000bks, which I wear whenever possible. As time goes on, I realize that the things I really, really want are all IH though, and I am carefully obsessing about my next purchases. Your great website and forum make that fun and I thank you all.

Hello Iron Heart'ers! As my 634-S's dry around my legs I feel finally ready to join! I see a lot of familiar faces from my SuFu days, and look forward to getting caught up with you all. Stoked there's a brand (and forum) with a tone and tenor I can understand!
You may know me as an LA shop owner (Craft), and denim nerd. And while I don't sell Iron Heart products at my shop, I've always admired the brand for its heavy weight fabrics, authentic fits and excellent attention to finishing.

Hey folks,
after lurking in this forum for a couple of months I decided to join you guys. I'm not having much experience with forums and posts etc but I'd like to share my experiences of our raw "hobby" with you.
I'm from a small town near Frankfurt/Germany and started our "hobby" in 2006. After wearing different raw denim brands (Edwin, Nudie, Levis Vintage, Pike Brothers, AtelierLaDurance) it was now the time for Ironheart. So I started to buy/collect some Ironheart stuff the last couple of months (btw thx to VMC, Zurich/ DC4, Berlin and Giles the master himself) and felt in love with this ultimate raw denim products. I started wearing them since two weeks and…. GRRRMM .... it's so stiff and heavy stuff .... that's what I/we want. I guess. HELL YA !!!
So, at the moment it is really "my favorite rugged wear". Just awesome

Hi everyone, I'm Jii from Finland!
I've been lurking this forum for a long time and have always found this forum very friendly so I decided to join (and partly -only partly- because of the 1000 member raffle :D). Don't have any IH products yet but I suspect that will change sooner or later
I've been into raw denim for a year and a half now, started with a pair of Edwins and 501 STF:s and was very much set on a pair of TWHR01:s from Giles, but visited Berlin this summer and got a pair of Flat Head F380:s instead from DC4 - and I absolutely love them! Gonna post a fit pic in the "Other brands"-section in a sec.
I'm also a watch freak and have a thing for shoes (sneakers mostly) which seems to be pretty common around these parts. I do a bit of leathercrafting as well, started out with watch bands but also do wallets and belts mostly for me and my friends since I'm still learning but that also seems to be pretty common among denimheads.

Haven't done a hello thread yet….. so here it is!!!
New member living in Chicago, one of the worst big cities for denim. Thoroughly addicted to Japanese denim as I have 15 pairs of different brands. I actually had up to 21 pairs but I have sold off some that didn't work for me. Also a big boot freak as I have a good collection of Alden and Fry boots (actually just multiple pairs of the same Fry engineer). Currently working on my shirt collection by buying IH shirts!
Anyway just wanted to say hi!
