COMING UP
Due to the many messages with regard to shirts, jeans, and jackets coming into stock here is a quick review of what's about to drop in the coming days and weeks.

By the end of the week we will have the long awaited 3sixteen Shadow Selvedge and Double Black denim Trucker Jackets , along with the new style 77 selvedge denim jeans for women, indigo-dyed twin pack t shirts, and a comprehensive restock of existing jeans.
Next month we will get a restock of the 3sixteen black stadium jackets and the 2014 olive version.
Next month also we receive The Flat Head HN-52W work shirt & HNW-52W Western flannels in all 2014 colours. The delay to these is due to the fact I requested the same dimensions as previous years. In the Japanese market these flannels got significantly shorter which just would not work for our customers. So our order was specially made. Hang on in there if you love FH flannels. You won't be disappointed. The colours and fabric are both killer.
Next month also we get a restock of the Pure Blue Japan indigo knit hoodies and sweat shirts with Raglan sleeves. They were the fastest selling items we've ever had.

Hi Danny - how are the new 77s different?
The back pockets are smaller and angled slightly differently.
In Japan last week Demitra of Self Edge was wearing a pair and informed me that the denim achieves it's maximum stretch after an initial soak despite being sanforized. So the shrinkage and stretch will maximize their form fitting comfortability. £sixteen is one of the very few denim houses who make raw selvedge for women. They looked hot. -

The wife has a pair and likes them very much as they are.

Danny do you ever order in any of the smaller Flat Head sized shirts, I'm thinking 34 and 36. I'd love to get one of their flannels for the winter, but a 38 just wouldn't work.

I'm afraid I don't. Demand for 38 is fairly weak.

Here is the 2014 Iron Heart version of the centuries old Pea Coat. It comes in dark navy and the 32 ounces of Melton wool will protect you against the cold, wind, even rain. It features black quilted satin lining and navy corduroy lined hand warming pockets and two internal pockets.

So popular are both the Shadow Selvedge and the Double Black denim that they were an obvious choice for the Type 3 Trucker Jacket from 3sixteen. The shadow selvedge develops fantastic high contrast fades with its indigo warp and black weft. The Double Black will maintain its colour and not fade to grey yet will break in with elbow creases and other wear patterns.
You'll find the jacket a perfect fit. Slim, tailored, and with an ideal sleeve length.
They both feature corduroy lined sleeve cuffs and hand pockets, a hidden interior leather patch, and zig -zag stitching under the collar.Junior is wearing a medium jacket. He is 173 cm tall and weighs 65 kg. You tend to size up in these.
We also got the 9 oz heavyweight jersey knit T shirts in indigo. They come 2 in a pack. Junior is wearing a small T shirt.

The N1 Deck Jacket in olive whipcord cotton has extra long pile alpaca lining. This is luxury style N1.

We got in the festive mood today by decorating our window with a winter scene version of our Iron Heart 666 collaboration jean.
The bike has been built by our friends at Old Empire Motorcycles. Rafe and Alec both have tonnes of talent and tremendous drive. The Hunter, now in our store, is for sale so interested parties get in touch with me for details.

We just restocked the rope-dyed indigo knit hoodies and crew neck sweaters from Pure Blue Japan.
The knit cotton fabric is luxuriously soft and no easy task to make. Then rope-dyed in indigo which will fade like denim. They come with raglan sleeves. The X007 Jeans are here. Photos up by Wednesday this week.

We have introduced the X007 jeans from Pure Blue Japan. This combines the double indigo super slubby denim with the slim straight fit. They can be worn dressed up due to the extra dark indigo hues and tonal stitching. However, beaten up they have a unique fade as one of the images below shows.

Real Japan Blues is the sister company of The Flat Head. The fabrics they create are on another level altogether and the Black Flower Paisley is no exception. The summery pattern belies the heavy cotton fabric. It has been woven on a jacquard loom giving it the three-dimensional diamond texture. The Paisley pattern is hand-printed. This is one of those pieces we secretly hope never to sell out of. (The Flat Head -52w Buffalo check brushed flannels arrive later this week)

The Flat Head slim tapered 3002 jean has been restocked and now comes with a 38" raw inseam. It uses the popular 14.5 oz. Pioneer selvedge denim with its unique vertical falling fades.
The images show the jeans in their raw state, worn by Junior for four months and a close-up shot of a pair we exhibit at the store previously worn for ten months.

The second Last & Loom collaboration boot arrived a few days ago. We opted for the same style Type 2 with double natural leather and half rubber sole for extra grip. It comes in chocolate brown leather.
A Brass screw wire is spun at high speed on a machine that screws the midsole, upper and insole together creating a super strong boot.
These specialist boot makers from New Zealand use one of the last such machines still in existence. It dates back to the 1800's when the technique originated in Leicester, England.Below is an image of the chocolate brown leather boot broken in by Hemi Pou who designs and builds the boot.
