The Flat Head
-
40, as I am in basically everything flat head. It fits exactly how I like, super short length and sleeves but comfortable in width!
-
Weird how we take the same size in TFH shirting but I don't think I'd be at all comfortable in a 40 t-shirt. 42 works much better for me.
Nice sweat. Ummed and ahhed over a couple of TFH zips during last year's Take 5 sale but the style wasn't really me.
-
SM, i felt the same way for a while, but after getting all my other clothes at the right size it was clear the 42 was too big for me. The 40 starts out tight, but since it's just cotton the body stretches very readily with some pressure. And since literally every other measurement is a lot better in the 40, I'm pretty happy with the result!
-
Yeah, I'm just musing really… Pleased that you found the size that works best for you.

Received the RJB windowpane shirt in the mail via the self warehouse sale through que pasa the other day. Unfortunately despite ordering a 42, I received a 40. They have said they will take it back which makes it a bit easier to take, but after seeing and feeling the shirt I can't help but feel that it will always be the one that got away.
-
^did you order an XL? I swear the Que Pasa sizing chart was messed up.
-
@DanielAFC black or grey?
-
goodrain, it was a Grey.
velo, I ordered a large but received a medium in their sizing terms. When I noticed your shirt go up for sale I had a sinking feeling, and it was confirmed when I received it.
-
So you ordered a Large expecting a 42? Did you contact Que Pasa or SE (Kiya)?
I wish I could find the sizing chart they listed. Although what would have really been nice is if Que Pasa had listed the tagged size on the website.
-
I got in touch with que pasa directly. Figured I would go that route instead of going straight to kiya and they accepted their error and said I could send it back. And yes on their sizing chart the measurements for large were the measurements self edge had listed for the 42
-
^Thanks, I just sent an email to Que Pasa
-
My XL was a 44
-
I asked kiya about this and almost missed out on a tee because of this reason…. He agreed that it's strange that they put m/l etc when the tagged sizes are 38/40 etc. makes no sense to me!

Confused the shit outta me with Mister Freedom sizing too.

Hopefully it worked out okay bud… luckily for me I actually paid less than I would have since i waited and luckily there was a restock and the price went down
-
FYI, a beige Work Shirt in 44 is up on the Que Pasa site: http://quepasashop.com/products/selvedge-chambray-workshirt-beige

The RJB shirt I ordered from the Que Pasa sale came in the other day…
Unfortunately it's got a weird line along shoulder and down sleeve…
It was along a crease in the shirt and I thought it was just some dirt or dust from being stored somewhere for a long time so I gave it a wash, which did nothing to the discoloration but did in fact ruin my chance of getting an exchange/refund. Maybe it's not that big a deal but it's all I see when I look at the shirt. Bummer. Guessing it's faded from sun exposure?Edit: anybody want this? PM me, I'll entertain any offer, it's a size 40.
-
Honestly I'd still ask if they'll take it back. That's jacked up that there was a line there when it was probably advertised as 10/10. Also, washing makes no difference in the return as it's not like it should've been sold like that anyway.
-
Yeah I did contact them, they said terms of warehouse sale are no returns, and since I washed it they said they definitely won't take it back. On the one hand I feel like I got a damaged shirt and why does washing it matter? It's not like they would have resold it had I not washed it and returned it… On the other hand, I don't think they noticed it and I don't think they intentionally sold a messed up shirt. And in hindsight I should have contacted them right away instead of washing it.. So, whatever. But I dont think I'll ever wear it. If nobody here wants it I'll probably just end up putting it on ebay for 0.99 and seeing what happens. Oh well.
-
Won't be doing business with them, thanks for the warning. If you want to go this route, you could let them know that what you received is not suitable for intended use and you intend to seek a reversal of sale via your credit card company.
