Just as I said – I returned $360 bucks poorer. Here's me and Lacy standing in front of the vet clinic this morning -- waiting for her 9 AM appointment. This clinic is walking distance from my house, and Lacy's been going to this doc since the age of 3 (when I first moved to Oak-town, which was 7 years ago). I was actually still in my 30s when I first moved to Oakland...faint memory !

PS. I found my shoes. Sperry Topsiders ! They are light and comfortable as ever ! I wear em mostly sock-less, and walk a million miles in em. Ever since I've discovered Sperrys, I've kinda ditched the Danskos. I mean, I still have them…but I wear them less, and mostly only during the rainy Bay Area winters.
