Thanks summ3r! I know what you mean.. the cleaning lady at the office is starting to wonder where these blue streaks on walls are coming from. Last day I even wiped my desk as it was starting to lose it white color under my arms! At this rate this jacket could look seriously epic by end of summer

Looks really interesting! Though I think, please don't take this as offense, that the jacket will look better a few months down the road - the contrast is a bit too much right now.

Evo potential (speed + contrast) IMO is so pronounced on this one that it should look like a truly different beast by end of this season.

Is it still very stiff? My jacket isn't nearly as worn in but I keep wondering when it will relax.
Remarkably it's still stiff in a few places @cadence (can still bites my shoulders and the inside of my elbows albeit very very slightly).. Took a long time to get this "comfortable" considering the wear I put on and still has some way to go.. this denim is just beastly till the end

It'll reach to a point where it suddenly starts to soften up though.. Just takes its time to get there.. kinda makes you work for it too! -
Heres mine, the first day I got it. I've been wearing it almost every day now. Its ruined 2 pairs of chinos, so I have to be careful what I wear it with now. I also had to take a razor and cut each button hole a little bigger. I don't know about everyone else, but it would seriously take me 10 or so minutes to just button it up. The top button, forget about it, it was impossible. I can finally button it now, but I seriously don't know how anyone buttons this up without doing what I did.

…razor blade? Oh, dear. Tight buttonholes just need to be stretched out a bit prior to wearing. I have an old-style flat handled toothbrush that I use for cleaning and I find that it's the perfect size and shape for this task. After working the holes over, try buttoning it up a few times without you being inside. Don't try this if the denim is still damp from a soak as you can rip the stitching loose from the denim. If you see the weft start rising to the top of the fabric, you're stretching too much.

The blade did the trick. They were just unrealistically too small. I literally couldn't button it up without spending 30 minutes and blisters on my fingers. Buttons up like a charm now.

I can't remember where I saw it, but it helps to put a coin in the button holes as you soak. It stretches it out a bit and doesn't allow shrinkage. Don't get me wrong. It's still brutal buttoning up the first dozen times, but it helps.

My fav method: metal tweezers, put them in closed and open to widen / soften the hole (reverse tweezer action). Also rotate the jacket's (tin?) buttons with your thumb until their denim base soften up, they'll become much more malleable then

@private eyes RAZOR BLADE??? please say it isn't so. There are so many other methods without defacing a $500 piece of denim.
