                  Sour Tuesday…

The Russian River Sanctification was delicious of course, but the Side Project was mind blowing. Probably the best sour I've had thus far.

I signed up for a craft beer delivery service a few months ago (beer52 if anyone's interested), and I've been really impressed by their variety - my monthly box just arrived, so I thought I'd share the contents on here (not literally, obviously 🙂 )

You amateurs* need to know though that, when opening a geuze, you should:

                                        • not unscrew the metal lid, first put your hand on top of the cork
                                        • unscrew metal lid and screw the cork upwards with a towel for grip
                                        • not let it PLOP, the less sound it makes the better
                                        • have a glass ready
                                        • warning: some kind of humour might be applied here… Germans be aware!..

Oddly enough the cork on this bottle gave way with very little effort. I was quite surprised to say the least. Despite some minute waste it was still so damn good!
