Need something not so heavy as a sneaker-alternative
Not so heavy? Wescos with a double leather midsole are definitely heavy.
They are heavy - they are serious boots, not sneakers - and I too, strangely like them! But then I only wear sneakers to work out or play sports (which is almost never).

I hope they are dead serious boots! But @Bluegrass and @Chris you are both right, with not so heavy I meant a black everyday to go boot without a lug sole or a big height. Nevermind

It's a bit difficult to tell on my screens, is the leather on the smooth out packers very different to the Wild Ones or similar, in shade/tone?
Actually I answered my own question there, it must be similar or I would be able to see the difference.
The Viberg 'Mocha Oil Tan' is far darker (almost black) when compared to the Wesco 'Brown'.

actually wearing my WESCOs out of the house for the full day for the first time. only had to take them off 1 time so far at my desk. I think the midsole is starting to buckle to my foot's will. hopefully the insole can go in soon.

Some days ago I ordered the WESCO catalogue, just for fun, I thought I will not get one because I don't live in the USA. But I got one today, they paid $ 12.60 for postage out of their own pocket. Without owning a pair of boots I can say its a great customer service, just like IHUK. No ass kissing, it's a fact.

Just put an order in on the FS page for 8 inch packers (non jobmaster toe) in brown…Unfortunately I don't think I'll be keeping my Packer-Jobmaster toe's as they're a bit too tight after all. My new pair will be a half size up which should help; I was hopeful that breaking in my pair now would give some room but sometimes you just need to move on! Pics when they arrive, thank god for the free shipping right now!
