Really digging the Fall/Winter collection, as Kiya said it's a real "greatest hits" kind of thing. Curious to see how long this stuff hangs around, the CPO and Deck Jacket have achieved a near mythical status amongst fans of the brand.
Personally, I'm very interested in the Wrangler "repro". It's a brand I think doesn't get enough love and I am intrigued as to what kind of little esoteric details Christophe is going to insert on a traditional five pocket jean.

Same here hectic. Also wanted to get some sizing recommendation since rakuten seems known for innacurate measurements, I won't be able to try it on, and will have a damned hard time returning any of the sizes. Likely a 40, in any event.

@TWE: Katherine advised me a while back that true to size was a reasonable expectation. I am going for a 44 (I also take a 44 in the Buzz Rickson if that helps). I am 6'4" and about 100 kilos.

Cheers hectic, the surer the better on these things and I appreciate the degree of confirmation.
I'd prefer a late October release on the left coast, TBH, to give me a little more time for some forthcoming IH purchases! Will post when Katherine responds.

Thanks for your email. We will be receiveing the deck jacket here at MF within the next two weeks. I anticipate the 27th. It sounds like you are a size 40. The 40 jacket measures 23" in the chest 19" in the shoulders and 26" in the sleeve. I am measuring a sample we have here so I will go ahead and measure from production once it comes in just to make sure it's exactly the same. I don't know how your other jackets fit, but this jacket looks best in my opinion when it's slightly fitted. Like a "uniform" fit. Hope that helps. I will let you know as soon as your jacket arrives.

Didn't even see this last week. No doubt kiya is in on the MF action. I think going through MF because to me, strategically, most folks will be buying through SE and since I expect these jackets to be goine within a week, MF, in my mind, is likely to retain it's retial stock longer. Maybe this isn't logical and won't be born out, but it's sort of what I'm banking on. I just really don't want to sleep on this jacket like I did last year.

The Troy has landed as SELA according the SUFU Oracle. Price is steep as expected: $870.
Back when the jacket appeared on rakuten I emailed Sutucorp to see what the total cost would be if I had it proxied. They quoted me just over $700…I'm confused. Is there a significant different between the MF Self Edge gets and the MF Rakuten gets? One wash, perhaps?
