The sizing table looks exactly the same as the old one to me.

Does anyone have an opinion on the 555blk?  They sound like unique faders with the sulphur dyed warp only the waist to thigh/knee/hem ratio seems like a sketchy proposition even for a bird legged dude like me.

Goyon, this is how they fit and I wouldn't say I have bird legs.  They definitely are roomy and comfortable at the top and taper way down… I think some who don't know the cut unfairly characterize it as a "skinny" jean.

My current jeans measure up at 32, would you advise a 31 or 30? They are a tagged 29, thanks again.

(i'll try to stop asking so many questions, ha)

I'd go for a 30. The new batch runs smaller in the waist than before and the 21oz can really stretch a lot.
If you're considering a pair from the older batch, 29 would be perfect.

Jeans are the most important part of an outfit to me. So getting a great pair of jeans would be my first priority.

I'm happy with my tellason's, just would like (need/want) a heavier pair too…

See how all the other parts measure up, rise, thigh, knee, hem, etc. and let that guide your decision. The waist will stretch, the other measurements not so much… Or without pressure the waist will hold more steady.

And of course you need more, and heavier jeans!!  🙂  MORE IS GOOD.

Last question, my current inseam is a 29. I want to allow for a cuff so was thinking of getting them taken up to 30.5, should I also allow for shrinkage later on?

                                      No, from the shop page:

Sanforized, so little or no shrinkage but like all denim, will stretch up to one inch in the waist with wear

But they will tend to rise a little (maybe 1/2inch) as the combs form
