Well, of course, I'm working today but on most days, I have lunch on Telegraph Road in Berkeley – which is walking distance from my workplace. I almost always end up at Naan n' Curry...after all, my ethnicity is South Indian ! Telegraph Road is the hippest place to be in Berkeley. Mostly, at lunch time, you run into Cal professors, Cal students as well as druggie street kids with their sick (as in unhealthy, not well) dogs.

Note Amoeba Records and Rasputin Music, two Berkeley classics. I'm surprised that they're still open in this shitty economy and age of iTunes -- but they supposedly have an awesome vinyl record selection.

And, oh, I only go for one trip to the buffet. That heaping plate you see is all I eat for lunch. I'm not 'fraid of onions and raw chillies !

I'm wearing : Schott Perfecto Steerhide, AA Tri-blend Vneck, IH 301S, IH Super Tan Belt, Sperry Topsiders.

Shubz, have you tried Shalimar in The Tenderloin District? It's also an Indian-Pakistani cuisine that I go quite frequently.

Hello. I had dinner tonight at DOSA in San Francisco's Mission district with my Mom and cousin. Yes, Self Edge is just 3 blocks away from DOSA but I didn't stop in. Are you fucking kidding me ? I cannot go into SESF every time I'm on Valencia Street…!! cuz, the thing is, when I set foot into that store, I buy shit !

                        I'm wearing :
                        Schott Steerhide Perfecto (34)
                        Oakland Ladies T from www.pure510.com
IH Super Tan Belt from SESF (W32)
                        IH 301S from SESF (W28)
                        Sperry Topsiders (6N)

havingmysay – Dosa is fabulous. Better get there early on a Friday or Saturday night or at least have reservations, since it gets packed pretty quick. The food is truly delish though...check it out !

Seul, it's awesome that you're so close to your brother. I see that you hang out with him as if he were your best friend. I'm also very close to my sister -- though we are very different. It seems like you and your bro are more similar than different.

I just love how simple this is - boil water, put silver and a spoon of regular table salt in tin foil - put in water - wait 30 seconds and done …if I'd paid more attention in Chemistry I would be able to remember the chemical reaction....

                                        Can't Beats the feeling.

For those curious: it's not an actual chemical reaction. It's more of a physical process. Silver oxide has a higher affinity towards aluminum in a saltwater environment than to pure silver. You're kind of sort of electroplating here

I know violence is not the answer, I got it wrong on purpose

So: would leaving it for longer than 30 seconds also make it cleaner, or doesn't it work that way?..
