      As requested by @tod and @Giles - a foot selfie of Big Wanda.

      The leather will look great with a bit more wear. I've only had these for a month or so, but they're developing character.

      Cheers.

        @tod:

        News of the upcoming Ironheart summer sale has me looking at some boots… Curious whether anyone can post pics of these brown oil tans with some real wear -- or another Viberg boot on the same leather for that matter.  (Also be interested in pics of the W & Anchor work shoes with wear, though I know this is the Viberg thread.)

        A bit late, but here's some.

            Great shots! They will get better with time.  I haven´t trashed mine enough yet to make them pic worthy.

              So I noticed the Cat's Paw heel, it's like a separate rubber piece. I've never had boots with one of those before, and I have just slightly bowled legs which causes the outside of my heel to wear faster. Can I just take these to a coddler and have them replace the rubber part? Where can I order new ones?

              Thanks

                  New job, too much information crammed into my head…

                  Anyway, thanks. Any new boots in the works, Giles?

                              So I have these boots, I was just wondering since I never got any shoes as nice as these before, are the insoles (which I assume are attached to the boots) replaceable?

                              I've also been reading a lot of leather care and conditioning, but haven't found as much information about conditioning/cleaning the inside of the shoe/boot. I figured, since that is where sweat, moisture and bacteria may arise in, shouldn't I dedicate as much time cleaning the leather on the interior as I do the exterior, to get maximum life out of my boots?

                              Thanks

                                Regarding insoles, you can buy aftermarket.  Talk to @seawolf.

                                Regarding washing inside your boots, I would take Wesco's advice:

                                Never use detergent. Simply wash the inside of your boot with a combination of warm water and baking soda. Do not rinse them. To dry, stuff the boots with newspaper and lay them on their side. Allow them to dry naturally. It is best to leave a bit of moisture in the leather to keep it pliable. To finish, apply appropriate boot dressings.

                                          Thank you Giles. I tried one SOLE 3.2mm thick insole and it's too thick. Feet can barely fit. (my boots, they fit perfectly… no room for growth.

                                          Need some ultra thin model...

                                          And contacted Mr. Seawolf as advised.
