Bought this on ebay one month when it rained almost non stop… Of course when I got the jacket it didn't rain anymore....

good thing to have though, totally waterproof, pretty warm, optional liner/hood.  Wore it almost non stop when the power went out last October for about 8 days.  Super jacket... dunno if I would pay retail for it though

Yep it's a bedale. Wanted the Beaufort but the price for my bedale was too good.  Paid 160 for jacket, hood and liner pretty much brand new after it was rewaxed.

Bedale probably looks better on you than the Beaufort would anyways.

I have a Beaufort. Love it. I like the Bedale on smaller frames for sure.

I have a Beaufort with the pile liner, but it's a 44 and I typically wear a 40 so it only gets use when I am really layering up. My Bedale (Sylkoil) is a much better fit for me and gets a bit more wear. The only problem with the Sylkoil fabric is if the day warms up, the jacket smells like asphalt. Luckily after 2 seasons it's not as bad as when new.

Selfridges started their summer sale today, and have a number of Barbour jackets going at stupid reductions. This includes my favourite, the To Ki To Lightweight Motorcycle jacket, which is down to £149 from £350. :o

Really, really annoyingly they only have stock up to XL, and I'm an XXL.

Grabbed this In New Orleans this weekend - very different from my normal aesthetic, but I like it
