Finally got my exchange for the engineers with the faulty strap. I was originally going to go with the black shell service boots, but Colour 8 was too sexy to pass, plus it matches my wardrobe much better.
I think the leather laces look way better, what do you guys think?

I like the waxed cotton better, but either way, they're beautiful boots.

I like the waxed cotton a lot, don't need to break them in. I just love the way the natural side of the leather makes the natural sole/heel pop out. It's all in the details

I prefer the leather laces, it's really a win win as those boots are really sweet. Color 8 is a great choice.

Cool. They are beauties. Classic color!. 2040 Partially structured toe??I guess I'm noticing the similarities with those and the 2045 when they have the more turned up toe. Especially when it's that side view. I have unstructured and partially structured 2045s. I guess sometimes It's a fine line trying to spot a last shape from an internet pic.
Really into the Viberg builds. Been tempted to look around at others but the shapes/builds don't suck me in enough..

But I should say my 2045 unstructured are not a turned up toe.
Well, ever so slight, but the partially structured really pronounces it.
