they look "not too much comfortable" to me tbh. …i'd say keep and rock'em and a few days/weeks later you should have a nice fit!

its not that its "too big" but its too pliable all over and a tad loose in the waist. im really new to these 21oz signature denim and im shocked that it is so much more comfortable than my previous raws (even though it is listed as 21oz). maybe that is why im a little bit insecure about it.

ill take ur advice finn! we'll see the fit in a couple of days

They look good to me too, if they're a bit loose in the waist but fit in the thigh and legs, then I'd put on a belt and not worry about it. I know what you mean tho, being fairly new the the 21oz denim myself I was pretty surprised to see how soft, pliable it is. Definitely not a bad thing tho.

They are not raw. The 555-02 is raw

The fit looks great - wear a belt if the waist is a bit loose - if they are a bit loose in the waist, they won't stretch - this denim stretches when you apply pressure.

akubolo, the fit looks good to me. The waist might shrink a little when you wash them - mine shrank by 0.5" (1.3 cm).

I think downsizing would look too skinny and tight.

I just ran my 555-01s through a hot wash and dry to see if it effected the jeans at all. They definitely tightened up a bit in the waist and thigh. The stacks look a bit more natural. I'd say there was a very small amount of indigo loss over all. I'll do up some photos tonight hopefully.

@ madmonday: yep, you guessed it, size 28. I have mine hemmed pretty short as well, and no regrets for me.

Bingo! My 55501 running on 28" waist but actually my waist is 27" (hahaha yup, it's too skinny for a guy. Just 175cm and 52kg) when i purchasd it i cant find any 27" size at ih website or the denum vault indonesia. Unfortunately. So, it's make the silhouette like a just-slim cut at me. Too roomy at the waist and thigh :p
Indeed, 21oz fabrics give more stretch…..then you can guess how it's too-big for me after months
