I snagged a pair of the short shaft horsies too - nice score.  They are awesome - only issue I had was the back of the shafts hit me in an odd spot and rubbed some blisters - but that can be remedied with tall socks and time/callouses.

And Rocket, I like the red boots - really - including the soles.  You can pull it off.

They do indeed feel awesome. I did sorta have to squeeze my 666s over them, but it works. They are making me feel the need for a 40s/50s style cut.

nice boots spring of light! how did you size those? there is a size 10 on the site ….I take a us 10 usually but have been informed I'm probably  a 9 or 9.5 in viberg again man killer

i am normally a size 13 US and I got a 12 UK in the horsey engineers and the fit is spot on. I am a 12.5 in White's if that helps you.

also I'm I correct in assuming the new Iron heart /viberg colab will be the same shape boot profile etc except not horsehide ? also the IH/Viberg is 9inch  I think I'm going to try and score the IH/viberg colab

Yes 9" with same (2005) last. Perhaps some other subtle differences too, I think.
