^Congrats. You won't find a better denim. The pain is worth the gain.

I felt like I was taking crazy pills, so I searched Superfuture and found multiple people who say that TTS should always refer to the tagged size and not the measurements. I guess there's not a universal definition for this term.

Just saw that and had to reply. It's simple: Size charts are there for a reason. I know that the perfect waist for me is 35" so I choose a raw pair with a mesured 35-36" waist presoak or 34-35" in a onewash or sanforized model. That means TTS for me and I think all other forum people I know. When choosing said 35" means to pick up a tagged 32 (I did that) or a tagged 36 (did that too) - I don't care. Confusion might come in here:

          • it's a difference wether you go TTS (as a person)
          • or if jeans fit TTS (as product). If a jeans fits TTS you are right and have to assume that a tagged 34 equals a 34 waist. But it's mostly used in "I went TTS in these" and that means you get your right size, regardless of the number on the tag.

          @elclintor:

          > I don't care what people say.. The Max Power way is the right way…

So if I am size 35 waist and a pair tagged with 33 but measures 35", then I say that I sized down 2. Just beause the jeans run big in the first place.

But like MaxP said: Size charts are there for a reason

I wish I would have sized up (or would it be TTS?) on these. It's hard to wear them a whole day.

This is about three months.. but I wear a uniform at work, so not much wear

The jeans are a bit tight i the crotch area... I have some difficulties walking up steep stairs and I usually dont keep anything in my pockets

Keep in mind that these will shrink if washed/soaked.

                      why so serious?

Yes, theyre kinda tight at the top, but I dont think I would be comfortable with a size-up, I think theyre baggy enough already 😛

The most irritating thing, is that the jeans will probably never be really comfortable because of that 😕

They look a big tight… You could always try wearing them without any underpants, it might give you a precious millimetre or 2 moving and breathing space.

I'm in the same boat as ropeadope. The crotch and the creases of my hips are the trouble areas. I also don't know how much more they will stretch, but it has gotten a little better.

Anyways, I guess it will be more comfortable when it softens up, irregardless the tightness in the waist/crotch area

Just joined the 666 25 Oz owners club.
Got mine from Hannya1977…brand new pretty much.

The fit is perfect. I'm a 33. The tagged 32 fits perfectly.
Very nice sturdy pair of jeans indeed!

OK…so after a few days of wear I realized that they fit a bit too large
                                        for me...and I 'd prefer a slimmer/more fitted fit.

                                        I'm sure I can wear a tagged size 31...
Anybody wants to trade his 31 for my 32 (Tag size)?

I wanted to comment personally on sizing down in the 666XHS.

I sized down on these because I wanted to take advantage of a Self Edge online sale and they only had a 30 left in stock. (Impatience is not a virtue, I know)

I'm usually a 32 waist, but I've had luck in the past with other brands sizing down and breaking in / stretching out, so I went for it.

After one good wear, the waist was not an issue, but even after two weeks of pretty heavy wear the top block remains unrelenting. This is consistent with what I read about this particular denim, but there's no looking back.

I kind of wanted to test my mettle with this pair though and this is just one part of it. I'm just gonna wear 'em until they surrender.

I sat in the bathtub in mine for twenty minutes and then ride my bike all day. It helped a little. Water really softens them up a lot. Hang in there.
