White's Boots

I'd leave it. Whiskey and blood add character.
-
Soak the rest of the boot in whiskey to even it out.

By the end of winter you will never even know it was there.

Little update - lexol didn't do anything… whiskey 1 me 0. (well really by now really whiskey 500 me 0) whiskey bath is looking better and better I have used saddle soap then a treatment of obenaufs or pecards or whatever you like, than a good shine. should be all you need to get rid of a stain. these leathers are tough and can handle the cleanings. i got industrial oils on my vibergs and saddle soap got the stains out and the obenaufs replenished the leather.

Just saw this pop up on Baker's Facebook. Looks pretty good. I've always wanted this make up. "Great example of quality craftsmanship from our repair dept! This is a Hathorn oxford, but turned into to a hand welted construction with a stacked leather heel base combined with a mini lug commando half sole!"

They've been churning them out lately. Hopefully my remake SDs will come as quickly as the original ones were (3wks)
