To my eyes and limited knowledge, the 17oz denim almost resembles the 18oz denim used on the 666 cut. I suppose I'll have to buy to find out, eh lol. Beatle, does the sizing on these ever vary? Love the over all fit of these in the 30s but wouldn't be able to pull of such a narrow waist size.

The back construction is intended to give you about half an inch extra space if needed.
