Got a hold of a massive stash of beer today.
      Including some 'Stone'
In Australia, or anywhere but certain parts of America, its almost unheard of to get Stone beer, they really like to keep in in the US.
      Looking forward to trying it!

Chris: yeah you gotta let that Bush de Noël warm up to get the full "Marzipan Experience"… Otherwise it's a bit boozy...

7.30 am and I'm thinking about what beer I'm gonna have tonight...

I had them about 30-60 minutes apart though.

I've had the first 2 and thought they were both excellent, slightly preferring the Saint Bernardus, not tried the other one.

A good bar….their Belgian draught list is second to none.

Bernardus 12 almost done....considering a la trappe quad.....

The draft sours, Petrus and Duchesse de Bourgogne, are both good examples of the style.  If you're not familiar with sours, start with the Duchesse.

I think this beer needs a lot of time and patience.
It reminds me a little of a Geuze.

Also has one of the best heads, in terms of retention, i have ever seen.

Weirdly, the only Belgian brew I have strongly disliked so far is the Duchesse, tasted like dirty dish water to me just plain bad.

I'm having a blue Chimay… It's creamy and I love the head on Chimays... Yeah: I think this one has me convinced...  🙂

Need some older Reserve bottles stat!..
