The Ambre  was a little sweet for me, still nice though. Pam loved the Peche Mel, she didn't expect it to be so good apparently.

I was pleasantly surprised by the Chimay Blue as well, that will become a regular purchase I think.

If I had to recommend one christmas beer, it'd be Stille Nacht. But then it doesn't taste like your regular Belgian X-Mas ale… If you want a typical one: Gouden Carolus X-Mas is one of my favs...

Actually really like the sound of Stille Nacht

Yep, as soon as I saw it on the board, I knew I'd be having some :).  Trouble is, this means that the rest of my evening will be sharply curtailed. Unless I can soak a bit more up…

Same as Rodenbach Grand Cru. ~6-8 C°. Defo not too warm. It's a very light beer, so don't expect big tastes… But it's massively refreshing.

                                            Decided to move on to:

A half of Punk IPA and:

Pork ribs and burnt beans to soak it up :).

What started out as a quick half-pint and lunch has quickly turned into an all night session :(. Oh well…
