You would have to find out from G, but I agree I would love it. I have a feeling that Haraki-San has a reason why he chooses not to do it on them but I am just speculating…

So here is the reason that the belt loops are not sewn into the waist band of the 634S.  When I tell you, you will not believe how obvious the answer is, I can't believe that any of us did not work it out for ourselves….. Haraki just has not got around to altering the pattern. 🙂 🙂

          He will do soon.

LOL, that is funny! So does that mean that all other upcoming models of IH will have the belt loops sewn into the waistband as well?

Cool, I like those sewn-in belt loops a lot. Is there any reason to spec otherwise?

Not for me, but one of my retailers may want to do an authentic '55 501 repro, in that case me may not want the sewn in loops.  G

G Could I get a shout when you do get the new belt loops in.

                  Thanks

I finally tried on my 634S today after getting them back hemmed… WOW i am glad i got these TTS and not a size down, these things have a death clamp on my hips right now... i could barely button the top button. Sheesh.

These seem to have exactly the same cut as the F380 which is fine by me, i love em!

I think im gonna keep the 634S and the F380 as my standard jeans and my sugar cane 2009 TTS as my slightly slimmer pair.

Christ it took a fair amount of experimentation to finally figure out where i wanted to be.

And thank you Lando for convincing me that IH was not too hot for SD 😛

I am so glad that you have figured out your rotation and cut choices. Hey no problem brotha, those IH-634S's will loosen up and become more breathable with more wear. Can't wait to see how your pair progresses over time. Cheers!

I think I retired these just after 4 or 5 months,

the fit was a bit big but I made due for the price

You could pass those as designer jeans and charge 800 $ for them, though…  😉

Got my first pair of IH 634s today.
Fit great, incredible build quality, heaviest denim I've ever seen.
                                            Extremely impressed..
These things are def the King of all jeans!

                                            One thing though..
They're a bit loose in the thigh, knee and leg opening. About an inch. Has anyone had them taken in or tapered?
any advice? Will they shrink after rinsing?

                                            thanks
