      Wow, these look great.  I like the 8 eyelet option, and the leather has worn so nicely.  What last is it…?

      @toddjcoley:

      cross post from HWBC

      Been wearing these boots at least 2-3 times a week. Been giving them a brush and a wipe down when I think they need it. I have been doing some spot treatment with heavy duty LP, I have given them a light coat all over a few weeks ago.  I want to let them dry out and have the grain age and crack a little but don’t want to ruin them.

      I have been in a few place most recently in “up there store” in Melbourne and the shop owner says “are they vibergs” “fuck yeah they are!”

          Cheers! The 2030 as I have a narrow foot.

            Anyone own Aldens and Viberg? I'm thinking about getting a pair of the service boots from Viberg.com (black cxl). If I'm a 7.5D in Alden Truebalance (fits well with thick socks) what size would I be in the 2030 last? Are the sizes on Viberg.com UK sizes? Any help would be great. Thanks!

              I wonder if anybody has an ideas to perhaps create a profile on members with all sizing info on the individuals in brands, cuts, and boot sizes etc.. I also being a long time serviceman understand many may not want to share this info.

              I'm thinking this would help keeping the posting of this info to a minimum and put it in one place. Perhaps when you create a profile, is there a way to rewrite software to extend the profile area. I'm not a geek but somebody on this forum may know if it possible.

              That way if a post was made by a member wearing something he/she/it likes, they can look up there profile to see what sizes they run..

              If I'm dribbling shit tell me to STFU.

              PS, penis lengths are most certainly not required in this info..

              Extra Medium?

              Fat dudes need good clothes too.

                i own aldens in the barrie (8.5 perfect) and leydon (9 great) last, vibergs in the 110 last (8.5 a tad roomy, but i think an 8 would be too short).  i don't own any vibergs in the 2030 last, but it is supposedly longer and more narrow so i could probably do an 8 lengthwise, but my foot isn't narrow so i would probably stick with an 8.5 in those as well.  so sorry i can't give you a definite answer, but that's my experience so far and best i can do.

                  I've had Trubalance and I go for the same size in Viberg, i.e. Alden 10 Viberg 10.

                    I have alot of Alden Barrie in size 12 and in Viberg I also take a 12. This means that both are really 12.5 in standard American sizes. Alden Barrie fits half a size large as everyone knows but alot of people say you should size down a whole size from an English size(Viberg)…I say only half a size.

                              Looking for some advice guys:  I've worn my new 110 last HH service boots a couple of days, and am getting a serious "hotspot" from rubbing on the upper boney part of my heel.  Never had this issue before with boots (I am usually working around my high arch or looking for more toe room, but never heel trouble).

                              So, do you all think this will go away in a couple of weeks, either as my foot adjusts or as the boot breaks in (though I can tell it's the stiff part of the heel cap that's rubbing)?

                                    I think it will go away as you break them in. Try wearing thicker non-cotton socks. I wear Fox River boot socks.
