Most of my jeans measure 34 to 34.5 inch.  In the case of 666-XHS the size 33 would be 34 waist inch new as per the sizing chart.  This would stretch to 35 inches based on the description which is too big.

"but like all denim, will stretch up to one inch in the waist with wear"

As size 32 inch comes as measuring 33 waist.  Which, given a one inch stretch would be 34 inches.  More like my current jeans.

Not sure if this logic makes sense….

makes sense - you are kinda between sizes - but even though they are sanforized, they will still shrink just a little bit too - so consider the shrink, add the stretch, and most IH jeans end up pretty close to TTS based on the chart.  P.S. and "i've heard" 25 oz does not stretch easily or as much as their other denims.

Mine stretched a bit in the waist. But just ask the people at the store to measure the waist of the jeans before they ship them. Rue+State measure mine. I just told them what size i needed in the waist, and they found it

I just ordered these. I am a little uneasy and worried about the fit in the thigh, but I just tried on my current Iron Hearts (size 40) and was able to grab about 4 inches in the thigh and the waist is about 2-3 inches too large. So I guess I will be fine. I guess I lost a little weight since January. Or they stretched out a bunch.

I left them unhemmed, so I can stack the f*** out of 'em (and return them if necessary.) Thanks again Giles. I couldn't wait any more for the straight cut to get back in stock.

Thanks for advice guys.  Think I will go with the size 33.  I've actually gone ahead and ordered the IH-802 and the IHB01-25 in 33 and 34 respectively.  Can't wait to get them in my hands.

Just a query about sizing, my tts is 34, i wear size 33 tag size 555-01 an they are a little big.
Would you advise going size 33 or 32??

But I mostly use a uniform at work, so these jeans are going to last really long..

Ive had one initial soak, and I havent noticed the jeans coloring anything.. I even slept in them once, on white sheets… could see any blue on them the day after!

I read a lot of different theories, but I want my jeans to remain intact as long as possible, should i soak them every other month?
