IH-802 Hickory Logger
-
Good to hear that a bunch of other people have them. I would just like to see how everyone wears theirs…
-
I don't think I have enough monitor for all of that Hickory Stripe…
-
Soaking, machine washing and then Machine dry on the bad boys to see if I can get them a little more fitted. Waist is great but they are a little baggy. Now that they have touched water, they will not be Sold…
-
Glad I have given these a revival. Wore them all day today and will do the same again tomorrow. Flicks to come…

Seul, I think the IH-803's might look fresh on you!!!

I'll be posting some pics of my Loggers with both a flannel shirt and a hickory stripe pullover later (Prison Blues) today–waiting for the sun. I wore these to work regularly and most of the last week before I retired June 30--they feel good on hot days. Being in management, of course, led to some sideways looks and a few comments, but what cares I for praise? Besides, trading insults with those clones was like dueling with an unarmed man.

Seul, I sure have the time! Actually, I'm staying very busy doing all the things that work used to interrupt. I can't say enough good things about retirement–the list of things I like to do is long--and getting longer. One item near the top is an IH Evo project that will start in October and run through December involving a pair of 634Ss.

Here's some pics of my custom 802s (W38 L42) wearing both a Prison Blues hickory stripe pullover and a Madsen's Logging Supply red and black buffalo check flannel pullover. I made the belt (9 oz. cowhide zinc roller buckle, copper rivets) thus it only has/needs one hole) and my size 50 Galibier Super Guides–tough and comfy--just like the 802s.
I also have a Pointer Brand hickory chore coat to complete the "logger's tuxedo". Maybe pics of that ensemble one day…

801s are extinct, I believe. However, there is a replacement, of sorts- the 804s:
