I already do and it's not pretty…I wanted over 30, I'm getting 15.  If this is a must have for any of you, I suggest you start looking further afield now.  Most of my western retailers are taking them, but they are all being cut back too.......

I hope you don't get me wrong or take this as offense, but why were so few made? The UHF always sold fast, right? (Just wondering, that's all).

The simple answer (as I have explained before) is that we fucked up.  Because we design the fabric ourselves and have to get it made, it adds an enormous amount of timeline pressure.  We don't just wander down to the local mill and say we'll have 2 rolls or that and 2 rolls of whatever else you have lying around.  Sometime in the summer, Haraki realised that if he did not get his order in for this fabric quickly, we would completely miss the boat.  He panicked, guessed what I would need and ordered what he thought would be enough.  He got it way wrong.  I did not realise until too late…..

Sounds like you need to do 3 different color ways next year to make up for this. I've never found any flannel remotely close to the heaviness of the UHFs.  This fabric looks similar in heft to the IHSH-51, one of the sickest flannels ever.

If you are gonna call this the UHF, I think the title should read Ultra Heavy Flannel, not Extra Heavy. Just sayin….

I called it Ultra, Haraki called it Extra.  On the basis that I only coined the term UHF to facilitate people completing the "tell me when back in stock" form until I knew the model number, calling it something other than what Haraki is calling it would only serve to confuse.
