Julie hasn't let me go back there for a decade.  She thinks it's "boring" and that there are "too many trees".

First time I visited Oregon I was asked if we had trees in England (admittedly by v sweet, elderly lady that hadn't travelled far from home)

Yeah.  Same here.

She was also weirded out by the fact that Flagstaff is in a National Forest.  Arizona is, as everyone knows, one enormous desert.

Apparently, growing up in San Antonio makes you slightly nervous if more than 20 trees are visible at once.  Also, trees more than 15 feet tall are intimidating.  Repeated trips to North Carolina have been therapeutic, but she still doesn't like being surrounded. :-\

The great thing is that it's only 6ish months into this comp. That means another year and a half of awesome looking denim…that's happy news in my books!!

think i want a new belt, need to repair the seat cause i have no ass at all & my jeans tend to hang a bit cause premature wear were the fabric bunches up.  18oz devil's  will update with the stats & all that goodness when i get a moment.

& i didn't forget about the challenges .  . . .

Back from some days off in Denmark. We had the best of times: picking mushrooms, being at the stormy sea, chopping wood and making fire, good cooking and so on. Currently trying to get back into normal life (and starting with washing my jeans). See you and have a great sunday!
