Seriously, I can not pick what to love more… The lad, the glassies, or the denim...

Hey guys, I've been lusting after one of these jackets for quite a while now but I've been having some issues with sizing I wanted to sort out before taking the plunge. I'm confused on the shoulder measurement. I've measured my Levi's type III just like the how-to post describes (measuring from the top of the shoulder to the center of the collar and then to the other shoulder). If I'm doing it correctly, my size S Levi (18.5") would equate to a size L in IH. I've never worn a L in anything! Does this seem right to you guys?

          A little more info, I'm 5'8" 160lbs with a chest of 40"

Sorry to ask another sizing question but thanks in advance for any help!

I'd go with a 38 or medium, but better double check with Giles…

Thanks, that was what I was thinking, I just really don't want to order a jacket that is too small!

As long as you're doing point-to-point measurements as per the guidelines, trust your tape measure….not the labels!

I've got a pair of Levi's 501's that are tagged 34 waist but when laid out flat after extended wear are almost a 37" waist. Don't trust the tags.

Another question for you guys who have had the jacket for a while. Have you noticed any stretch in the shoulders as it breaks in? I feel like my Levi's definitely stretched out in the shoulders and chest a little bit since I first got it. It is made from a much lighter denim though. Thoughts?

I just got one! I just joined the forum too! This jacket is the first piece Of IH wear that I now own, but it definitely won't be the last. I was very worried about the sizing when I ordered it, but when it arrived I was thrilled! It fits like it was made for me. I had to order a XXXL from Self Edge because unfortunately, there weren't any available here at Ironheart and I just couldn't wait for a restock. I kept looking at it over and over. It was killing me, so I pulled the trigger and I coudn't be happier with it!!!
