Solid team here guys! So pumped on this, it has made such a great change for me. I had let fitness drop it's priority in my life due to a couple different things I had going on and we all know how that goes, once you start letting it slide its a real slippery slope. Now I can officially say I  back on track an in a big way and it's completely thanks to D666 and the idea of this challenge. Keep it up guys, we're all doing great things.

what do you guys actually train for when preparing for the challenge? it's "just" stamina and willpower right?

go to the GORUCK website, it's all laid out about as flat as a pancake. . . but to be fair aLOT of the Challenge is based on the unknown.  i've been working on my endurance and have been trying to work light with plenty of reps of any given thing i'm doing.  i've been slacking a bit with real life sneaking up on me, but i'm still stead fast with my vision of what i'll be doing next April . . .

once things cool down for me i'll be posting more in this thread. this thread really keeps me interested in this forum and motivates me

April option is Santa Barbara which is also quite lovely and that date is 4/11 FWIW there is one in S.F. that day as well. All that being said Newport Beach is my top choice based on the beauty of the place alone. Flexible on all of it though so let's just see what works for everybody…

I'm pretty sure they are coming. as it gets a little closer we will figure out who can/will watch the little dudes…
