West Coast Shoe Company WESCO  Boss 16" or Jobmaster ".  You can custom build your own and have them fitted to your feet exactly. They are heavy duty. Best boot I have ever owned. 26 years in military, I have worn a lot of boots.

I'm looking for a good boot that's versatile for motorcycling and everyday wear. I've considered Wesco and the Lone Wolf engineer boots from History Preservation ($700, so damn expensive!). Any suggestions/feedback!

I would go out tonight, but I haven't got a stitch to wear.

Thanks Hectic. I checked out the MF boots on Sunday at the store in LA. They are alright but I think the pricetag is a bit steep. I've been thinking about getting the 1000mile boot as an everyday boot, but I think I want something a bit more rugged for motorcycling.

I would go out tonight, but I haven't got a stitch to wear.

I've been reading some good things about Wolverines, I really like the look of the 1000 mile originals in cordovan. Hectic, did you get a pair in the end, I can't seem to find a UK retailer?
