44 is a good fit Finn, you are looking great too, think about the body length too and that tee is right on you. The jeans are not bad. You have meaty thighs and the narrow taper (imho) make the thighs look bigger, like a chicken drumstick. I ain't hating. I have the same issue with my legs I understand what you are dealing with here. Consider the IH1955's, they were made for your body, they will make your legs look even all the way down and they are narrow at the cuff if you check the sizing, and your legs will look longer trust me.

Not only his thighs but also he has wide hips which amplifies the look in the upper thighs.
But that man is an athlete and very good in shape. But some spots can't be helped (and you can't exercise away your bones). -

the day before going to VMC, davito was wearing the 991XH and they grabbed my attention right as he stepped around the corner!
went in to VMC the day after and asked Freddy for a nice pair of jeans for the summer months, unsanforized, low/mid rise and with not too much excess denim from knee down (as almost every pair of IH or others has!)...he grabbed those and the 004's from the pile and just by looking at me, he even grabbed the right (for me and freddy at least!) sizes!
buttoned'em up and was happy as a motherf... I think you can imagine

Indeed sir! I'm very picky when it comes to fit (thus I have a number of pairs that have stayed fairly untouched over the years because they just don't feel quite right) but its a great feeling and, at least I, know immediately when putting a pair on if they are ABSOLUTELY PERFECT. Congrats on a great pickup! I'm gonna have to try to see some in person much to my wallets dismay!

Bro, I am sure Giles would be kind enough to send you a pair of 55's to try, if you don't like em you send em back. But if you haven't tried them you won't know. With regards to feedback; people only say this as they care, you are a free man and we shall not discuss this again, peace and love.

and tbh. I really wanted something else as IH to be my next pair…after years of only IH, I'm really looking forward to something else this time! the 55's might be a dope cut, but not want to roll with the 21oz denim again...looking forward to the 14.75oz of the JMC's!...
