On mine these have a higher rise than some of my other jeans, so having some extra room at the waist is not a bad thing (unfort. at my tag size (38) my "waist" gets bigger the further you go up from my hips
). I really like the 555-01s, so tried the same tag size in 555-03s - but the knee/calf/leg opening was just enough slimmer that it was uncomfortable - also the black denim was stiffer and I feared I would not get any stretch - so I returned them. They were a little bit bigger in the waist and slightly higher rise than the 555-01s, but the waist was not bothersome. Also as a side note, dog hair sticks to the 555-03s like glue! My dogs anyway. I had to use a lint brush after having them on for a few minutes. I'm sure hair sticks to indigo too, but I don't notice it. -

Just got the 555-01 today, love them
These will be a long term project for me, can't wear them daily so they will take some time to wear in… Absolutely love them though, haven't been so pleased with a pair of jeans since a pair of Samurai S0500XX years ago..
Excuse the lack of shoes, straight out of the gate...

First post, please bear with me. Really keen on the IH-555, but unsure about what size to get.
Could anyone with a worn size 30 please measure the upper thigh for me? According to the measurements on the product page they would be ideal everywhere else, but I need the initial thigh measurement (11") to stretch a wee bit for them to fit well.

I don't have the 555, but I do have some experience with 21 oz denim. It's pretty stretchy depending on the amount of pressure you out put on it… I have a pair of busters that started with an 11" thigh, and they now measure 11.5". They were pretty damn tight on me but it shows that the thigh can and will stretch out.

The 21oz does stretch a fair amount…pressure sensitive...

Looking good Suru. And Seul, I was truly surprised 1) that I could even wear this cut (that they weren't tooo tight in the legs) - 2) that I liked this cut once I realized I could wear it - and 3) how much I liked it. I think this is a really flattering cut for a lot of people. Having said that, they can be a little hard to "pull off".

As soon as i bough it, the Doctor appeared and handed me his screwdriver to hack into the Matrix, where I could control the Postman Pat to try and catch them all before Eggman turns them all into robots to fight Batman in his quest to bring justice to the world once the Fire Nation attacks.
I now no longer have that bloated feeling when i'm outside. I am somebody again! Thank you, Iron Heart!PS: I'll post the fit pic once i get into this fikkin super duper slim jean. (my true size is 31, fyi)
