    Well spotted, iPhone  😉

just wear - don´t compare - what matters is that one loves what one is wearing…

Been around the block, and yet I always come back to IH.

I need a pair of 34s, unaltered hem or at the most hemmed to 33.5", in both the regular 21oz and the OD version. I know there's an abundance available in the webshop, and I'd love to buy directly from G&P, but I unfortunately need to penny-pinch atm. Let me know.

Hey guys.  So I'm wanting to sell my size 31 666s to get a pair of roomier bb.  The thigh on those is just too tight.  I'm in between the 32 and 33 because I like the thigh measurement on the 33 but I've always gotten jeans in 31.  I don't want them to be too baggy, but the waist measurements on pair I like are at around 35".  I've been looking through this thread a lot and I like Beatle's fit.  would the 33 be too baggy? or just stretch the 32's thighs out?

Are you looking to purchase a used pair? Busters measure an inch less than tagged size so a tagged 33 would be 32" in the waist, not 35".

My Busters are a little loose in the waist but a belt takes care of that issue. I thought 31" (tagged 32) would be snug but it turned out not to be the case. In all other dimensions, the sizing is exactly what I wanted and the thighs would have been too tight in a size down.

Whatever right now.  Probably because I'd be losing money on my 666 even though they are practically brand new so I'd want to get another pair without dishing out too much extra money.

But, the tagged sizes is why I'm pretty confused right now because my tagged size 31 jeans measure 17.5" across.  My true waist (measured at belly?) is just shy of 32" so I'm thinking 33 would be good.  I'm just making sure because I buy most of my jeans at tagged size 31 and don't want to end up swimming in my jeans lol.  Sorry to be annoying just confused.

The advice usually given in these situations is to measure the waist of your favourite fitting jeans (and follow the IH method) and then buy the pair with the nearest measurements. This is better than buying tagged size, as it varies a lot.

Don't worry about being annoying. Everyone here wants you to get a pair of jeans you will love. I'm at a year in my Busters and have nothing but good things to say about 'em.

Thanks.  I guess I'm gonna try the tagged 33 size and see how that goes.

                  Do not try…measure and compare.

If your best fitting (not too loose) jeans are 17,5 at waist that suggests someting around 34/35 waist...

Are your tagged W31"  which measure 17,5 fitting loosely or snug? is the rise same as in Busters?
If these jeans you say fit well at waist, W33 Busters might be very tight at waist for you.

Isquash, http://www.ironheart.co.uk/forum/index.php?topic=2835.0 is how you measure the IH way. It'll take you 5 minutes to do and ensure you get the right fit.

Thanks guys.  My other W31 jeans fit comfortably but need a belt with them.  Since these 21oz stretch a lot I guess I shouldn't be worrying too too much.  I just don't wanna mess up after just messing up my 666s.  Now I just gotta successfully sell those off and buy these busters! haha

Welp got my sz 33 in yesterday.  I really like the fit.  Was going for a more relaxed pair than my other jeans but still slim.  The waist is a little tight but wearing a belt to keep it around this.  One question, will the knee down part settle and look slimmer/less boxy?  It doesn't show it too much in this pic but the stacks are kinda wide and the calf/shin area sticks out a little.

That was one of my issues with the Buster cut, as well. It's something you'll just have to embrace for a while.

I hit the one year mark for my Busters at the beginning of June but haven't had the chance to post up evo shots until now:

Machine washed with Bronner's at the 5, 8, 10 and 12 month marks. Now enjoying a well-earned rest.
