Just got back from NY and found out that this is in town waiting for me!  It was sent with a friend's wallet to combine shipping but I can't get a hold of him yet…TORTURE.  I'll get some pics up later...

Got the belt attachment…WOW.  It is amazing!  It really is a very special item.  Here is the matching set...

It is difficult to describe just how beautiful this leather is.  Here is another shot to show how varied the tone can be depending on the lighting or viewing angle…

Feels so nice to have the matching set.  I e-mailed Giles and asked if this was the first one outside of Japan and his exact reply was…

Makes me feel very special and honored.  I highly recommend this little unit.  It is very easy to slip the keys in and out of the clip with one hand and it just feels so smooth and indestructible.

Now for a chain that is as special as these to complete the ensemble...

Yes, no reign for now.  Haven't figured out what direction to go with it.  I've realized that I'm not a fan of long wallet chains, but I would like a shorter something.

Perhaps this IH silver bracelet could do the trick as a short chain? It's just over 8" I believe.

What do you think?

I just need it to stay tethered to me, and I don't mind unhooking the wallet to use it…

Would work perfect .. I myself prefer longer reigns - but if ur looking for something shorter this would be great

think it might be too short & look a little weird, you would have to put the rein near your back pockect. . . don't think it's a good look.  go for the wallet chain. . . maybe it can be modified to where it isn't so long for u but long enough where u can pull it out your pockect and look at the contents of your wallet.  i'm pretty sure these are made to order so once G gets settled in u can probaly contact him to see if something could be worked out.  more importantly the locking mechanism on this thing & what looks like a rising sun or something & the eagle beak clasp. . . just awesome craftmanship.  u lose out on that with just the bracelet.
