8 1/2 UK in the scouts that are a good/great fit (little room with thin socks, perfect with thick)..
my 1950 service boots are the same fitwise (little room with thin socks, perfect with thick) and they´re built on the 310 last and are a UK9.
the 4HS 1940 service boots i had were built on the 2030 and a UK8.5…no chance to feel comfortable in´em, not even a minute! the toebox was just way to narrow/flat and not even thin socks were good to go. so i´m really happy for your wallet that you´ve cancelled that email. -

With a different sole, Shane's are bad ass but they fit him!
I'm gonna wear them through summer then get a resole directly from Viberg.
It's def my least favorite sole, but I couldn't pass up that Harness leather since they don't carry it anymore. -

congrats on scooping the pair you really wanted. I had a couple of pairs i was interested in, but i guess five minutes of thought was a little too much. Although like others have said, there will be plenty more so maybe it's a good thing i didn't get any of those. -

so you can say that the 2030 last is narrow that i need to size up from my uk size?
well that's the rule of thump for me personally buddy…as it is with all this MTO stuff (boots, jeans, hats etc.) one gotta make their own experience though, right!? I made'em and after that I know that tts is the minimum I'd go when choosing a boot on the 2030 last...

Hi all, well done to the winners of the Viberg lottery. Does anybody happen to know the last used on the 66 Hiker? I'm 8.5 in Trickers, Alden Barrie and Trubalance, 9US in RW Beckmans. Any ideas? In need of a good looking all weather hiker and the 66 seems to be the DB's for the job.

curious to see urbs harness leather get some honest to goodness use & a resole for winter 2013/2014.
oh & also curious to see what other goodies the viberg sample sales will bring. it was really a genuis idea & i can not imagine how many people actually care what is happening over at styleforum based on this alone. pretty epic stuff.
off topic but what the hey. would love an Iron Heart sample sale fashioned in the same way . . . i know highly unlikely, but it never hurts to bring these things up
