i went there at 6.30AM and was already 13th in line lol…. But rumor has it that if you go too early, they'll see you from their CCTV and deny you access to the more exquisite items because well... you're too early lol. and it's not everyday or every week you get a bangle... it's pretty hard to come by ..
I was thinking I'd swing by later in the afternoon early in my trip and wait near the tail end of the line just to take a look; then commit one morning around 7am to get in line. I really hope I get lucky in the bangle its the key item I'm hunting for. Salami is it really that uncommon of a Goro's item to come across in the store? It seems like most collectors have one in their setup only reason I thought it might be one of the more commonly produced pieces.

well they're closed on weds or thurs if i'm not mistaken. haha it's a really long line.. yep it is. hard for anything to come by lol.

Salami thanks for the info on what days they are closed. Looks like I'm in for a bigger battle than even a 6-10 hour line to acquire a bangle. Can you guys recommend a plan B incase I don't get lucky at Goro's I know second hand there is a premium, but any shops to look into that may have reasonable-ish second hand Goro's?

i don't think there are actually names given to them by the brand themselves.. all these names are probably given by the resellers for easy identification. in the shop it's pretty much if you see it, you can buy it, if not, they won't have it.

Yeah Salami I hadn't seen the pieces named till I stumbled upon the "Goro's Fun Site" http://www.5pr.net/goro/ and they had product names on the pricelist.
Just trying to get the best idea of whats going on before I make the trek across town since I'll be living near the Nippori area.

Living in Oklahoma, I grew up with tons of that stuff. I love native jewelry and am always picking through it at local pawnshops. I need to learn more about it, because I have no idea, outside of basic quality, on type of craftsmanship or value. I find myself always backing up, because I have no idea what it's worth. Any resources you guys recommend?
