Thanks, Chris. Yeah, we've had a couple warm, ~ 80*, days here in the past month, or two, and the 21oz. felt fine. It doesn't really get much hotter than that, where I live, so I should probably be good.

To stay relatively on topic, the details on the SF01 & RS04 are top notch, but if they don't breath well, then they are an easy pass, for me.

Agreed- Roy's work is top notch, and the attention to detail is amazing.  I'll probably never own a pair, since he likes to make them far too skinny for my build, but they are beautifully done.

That's interesting. I find my RS04s are slightly roomier than my SEXIH13.

Yeah, my Roy Ducks are slightly narrow at the hem, but have plenty of room through the thigh; which is usually a problem area, for me.

they lose the greyish tint pretty fast.  Its actually pretty crazy how the denim evolves

Finally got to measure mine and I think they will stretch out prob at LEAST a half inch in the waist.

^Anesthetist, I glad you were able to chime in here. Mine are definitely looser than they were initially, but I have shrunk some in the waist; so the difference was near impossible to figure.

I heard Roy is doing a collab with Non-Riveted, Mike Harris' new brand. Mike also has some stuff with Blue Blanket and Jack Knife Outfitters in the works. Most of the stuff will be repros from clothes that he's found in mines, out west.

RS-04

Great fit - great pants - really comfortable - I also have a pair. I also bought the SF01 when they dropped, but I'm waiting to soak/wear them after I get bored with what I've got in rotation.  I noticed that the patch on the SF01 is not nearly the same caliber as the RS04 - smaller/thinner - I really love the patch on the RS04.  Hard to tell pre-soak how the SF01s will differ from the RS04s - the difference in measurements is pretty subtle.  I think I'm going to go for the raw Ducks based on what I'm seeing in this thread.

The new Roy jeans drop tomorrow.  Based on the measurements, the rise won't work for my particular man package.  I've had this issue with a couple of other Roy styles.  I'll just keep waiting for the rumored denim jacket.
