IHSH-21-BLU - 10oz Selvedge Chambray Work Shirt - Blue

Simon is a lucky man.  He lives about a mile from me.  So he came around yesterday and snagged am IHSH-21.  He soak tested it (well saved me the bother ;D) and got some quite serious shrinkage.  I will make sure that the pre and post soak sizings are up on the web page when I build it, but Haraki has gone and given us a nice raw piece to play with….

noooooooooo, i sized down to an xl on this because of the sizing on the other new shirts.  i hope it makes it around the beer cooler after a cold wash. . . .

This shirt is awesome, the detailing and construction are exquisite. I have other Japanese selvage chambrays but the IH blows them in to the dust! My wife tells me it makes me look slimmer too.

Perhaps this already been asked but is it the same fabric as in the IHs-16 western? If not, what´s the difference?

IMPORTANT UPDATE - LOST IN TRANSLATION.

Haraki has just told me that the IHSH-21 fabric is 10oz, not 7oz as previously stated.

It is the same chambray we used for IHSH-09 and IHSH-13.

The IHSH-16 fabric is 11oz.

Giles, Forum members all; I'm sorry for (unintentionally) misleading you when I said this shirt shrank after a soak, I did genuinely measure it before and after and my results showed considerable shrinkage. I've just taken it in to Giles's where we measured it again and sized it up against a new shirt. There is near as dam it NO shrinkage. Trust Giles's quoted sizing when ordering, it is correct, and will stay so after washing. I shall now go sit in my corner of shame.

My bad for not doing the shrink tests before you came around yesterday.  I was not expecting that the waft of heavy chambray would make it a mile down the road and you would be round like a dog on heat before I got to do the soaking.
