Haha, fair enough.  I have always thought the Ti-Lock is a damn good looking knife.  I'm looking forward to reading your impressions after you've had some time with it.

And have been looking at for years… Only to find out that the lock prevents the knife from being clipped onto the pocket of your jeans without doing damage... Can keep it in my shirt pocket or clip it to back pocket without a problem though... Should also work wonders on looser pants (aka shorts in summer, 816,...).

Wait Ti-lock doesn't fit in your front pocket????
The grant hawk clip should make it easier and wont year your pockets

Of course it fits in my front pocket, but it doesn't slide down easily… The lock and bolt get in the way and scrape my jeans badly... There's enough wear on it already, this would wreck them in a short amount of time... It's not the clip either...

In a related story , I just picked up the spyderco techno

Congrats! The Techno is definitely amazing! I actually gifted one of mine (one with a voided warranty). I love that little guy. It actually beat out my Sebenza for EDC…for now at least.

Does anyone know what knife nietenhosen is carrying?

haha i actually asked him about this on the same day.  told me it was a lone wolf paul presto knife…the one with the pearl handle.  wish i could find one or a similar one, but seems they are hard to find these days.  sweet knife....wish i could find one.

It arrived yesterday …
All I can say is WOWWW! This thing is impeccable . The fit and finish is perfect and it is so hearty like a mini axe. So happy with it

I have the Paramilitary 2, which has very similar ergonomics but is smaller with a different lock. It's a great knife
