maybe another -less expensive material- besides silver???  can not speak for anyone else but the really cool part is the bike chain.  the other chains manufactured look really top notch -but sinice i've never handled them- i have to say none can match the bike chain  8).

& it would be even cooler with this clasp configuration. . . .

since we are just kickin' about ideas i figured i would throw everthing in but the kitchen sink

I sort of fixed your post Monday - I only posted one image though.  Hope that is OK.

That chain is made by a different artisan than the "chain chain".  Apparently it is not possible to get those fittings on the "chain chain".

of course it's ok Lord Giles.  I actually thank you cause it was driving me crazy that the photos wouldn't show-up.

This is all a dream sequence "in hopes of Haraki-san making" so no harm in begging for a way to put that clasp on the bike-chain-in flat black-out of a more cost effective material 

That eagle's beak is so much cooler & it's actually a stamp of sort's on the actual lockin' mechanism for the chain that put's it over the top for me. -would put pictures but u see how the worked before

I'd be down for somewhat of a different design of chain, doesn't necessarily have to be a bike chain.  Not sure what though….
