Wear them. His job/hobbies are most likely a reflection of this. You should see what kybosh, yo_mj or licorice noose can do to a pair of IHs in the same time frame

They seem big to me.  Should I size down 1.

I think they look good, and keep in mind they will drape better, with wear.  I prefer my fits a little more relaxed than most on this forum, though.  Finn would probably tell you to six down one; but I'll wait for him to chime in.

In the end, it's your opinion that matters.  If you feel like they are big, then you should exchange them.  It kind of defeats the purposing of buying Iron Hearts if you don't feel great about them.  I also understand reaching out to the forum; that's what it's here for; but trust your gut.

what is too big about them Sopiar? "just" the waist or the jeans in generell?
if they don´t feel right to you, then maybe you should look for a different size or into a different cut i´d say!

It might be that i'm just used to tapered jeans. But from the back it looks like there is a lot of room in the thighs.  And even if i do size down one would the just stretch how much they need too and end up with about the same fit??

that may be the reason…really takes a bit of time to get used to straight/fuller cuts! but if you think your waist allows for one size down (cuz the rest of your legs looks pretty slim) then wth not! and i don´t think that your thighs or the rest of the leg is going to stretch the denim (when sizing down one) cuz it looks like you really have enough of room in those parts.
otherwise i may would look into a different cut. IHxB01 for example which really is a great modern cut imo! pretty versatile as well.

not want to talk you into anything though, so i´d say let´s wait on some other opinions first!

Thanks Finn. I was initially going to go size 33 but after measuring other pairs of jeans decided on the 34 because I though the would be too tight.  But there is seems to be enough room in the to size down to 33.

It's all about what look you want. What you've got is a 'true' fit on a pair of jeans that are meant to be straight fit. In a few weeks of wear they'll drape better and look less straight. At that point you'll have a great silhouette/cut going on. If you're after something that is tight/modern, as Finn as said, you can either size down here (if you've got thigh room), or switch to a more modern cut, like IH-666D's or IHxB01.

For what it's worth, I went true size in my IH-634S and after a year of wear love them in their relaxed fit. I'll add a photo after this.

TTS IH-634S after a year of wear…..Nothing straight or boxy about it, just a damn good cut.....hope it helps clarify. Really comes down to what you think/feel
