wonderful staffs and Rottie around. my Jessy loves those guys, unfortunately in Switzerland it is a pain to have staffs, pits or rotties as a pet due to a really bad accident caused by pitbulls some years ago killing children on their way home…it was really really bad...Government forbid all of those "dangerous" breeds (forgetting the man/woman behind the animal) and depending where you live, they let you have one if you pass a test at the police station (no dog can pass it as it is that hard...) and you have to keep em all time at the leash.

crazy thing is that on bite statistics for example the breed mix of my dog (border collie x appenzeller) runs the positions before the other "dangerous" guys. Its all about handling the doggie correctly then, from chihuaha up to the big ones.

I love staffs and (mini) bull terriers they are great dogs, jessy loves to "fight" and cuddle with em :-). Maybe in some years I will get a mini bull...

What a crazy breed we humans are...

      Cheers,
      David

That collar looks excellent!  My only concern would be that there's a lot of material past the holes, which might extend past the keeper and stick straight out (I had a similar issue with a collar I had made once).

Also, double thick leather is nice…my dog saw a squirrel once and did this (1.5" wide, .25" thick leather):

There isn't really any extra leather past the keeper. The collar is made to custom measurements for the dog, with some extra holes just in case. It all lines up perfectly. That's a really good point though!

Very nice; was hard to judge the length due to the angle of the shot.  I'm jealous!  It looks great.

Have you done a lot of leather work? That's pretty nice. The stitching is very straight

                                Nicely done dude
