May I ask what causes that vertical fading on all your jeans? Looks a little like you're on your knees a bit, but also like you're carrying something on them? (And  I Super Love that our jeans take on our own lifestyles)

Thanks a lot! But what do mean with vertical fades? The part on my thighs or the whiskers? I can't say I do anything special, just wear them every day, also in the office. But also when skating, hiking, cycling (commuting) and such. And I have the habit of not using a towel but my jeans instead. So this might help the fades on the thighs. The whiskers might just result from sitting a lot in the office.

Thanks for the details Max. It seems quite unique to me, Obviously we all get fades there more or less, but that's just so consistent it's amazing.

Could be cycling? Thigh contracting at the top of each rotation? It's nice to see I'm not the only one who cycles in selvedge (mind you, I was cycling in APCs mostly…) Thanks again.

Yes, it could be. However, I don't cycle in jeans when I really go for a longer tour or if it's hot. But it happens quite often though.

Yeah - that's right … too little space for the treasures!  :-\ ... the rest (plenty of ^^) is spread all over the apartment in suitcases, bags, on coathooks, etc. .....
But anyway - before I spend only one cent in furniture, my "addiction" forces me to insert the bucks in new garments, shoes and similar stuff .......... or whisky & beer.
