Just received this from Nick at Horween: "Chromepak is the hardest wearing tannage that we offer.  This article was developed decades ago for the use in applications ranging from harnesses to moccasin outsoles to work boots.  Substantial, but pliable, Chromepak is hot stuffed with an extremely heavy blend of proprietary oils and greases and then aniline finished.  The high oil content provides good water resistance and acts as a conditioner throughout the life of the leather.  The Chromepak process takes more than a month and yields an article that will last a lifetime."

Those white klouds are so nice been eyeballing them for awhile… I hope that is a similar cxl

Not at all. More of a matte oily finish on the Chromepak. Not to say I don't like the boot by White Kloud! I do very much.
