My dog had a seizure this afternoon. Scariest thing that's happened to me in a long time. As soon as she got through it we took her to the animal hospital and they were very helpful. Told us she's probably epileptic and there no need for any medicine and seizures will probably reoccur.

We got her back home a little while ago and she's still acting very confused and panicked, not able to make sense of anything. All she's done is pace all around the flat and whimpered. Hopefully she'll pass out from exhaustion soon and just sleep. Right now she's not really responding to any of the words she knows so needless to say we're really just anxious for everything to get back to normal.

The confusion lasted until about 10:30 last night when she finally passed out and went to sleep. Woke up her old self this morning which is a huge relief. Going to look into better foods immediately and some EFA supplements for brain health for both our dogs.

Our other dog was an angel throughout the whole event.

true story…my cousin had one of these a few years ago (a female rottweiler)...
i really loved it. so playful and vigilant and o/course powerful as hell! unfortunately it died through some crazy circumstances!
their backyard borders directly to a forest, so sometimes they let her out for "a walk" from which she always came back...unless that one time! she has been attacked by some wild hogs and unfortunately wasn´t strong enough to make!
                                        a wonderful dog though...

back in the days we had a doberman btw. (might try to see if i can find some pics from that time!)...i´d love to get one in a few years from now. such great dogs!

Yup, Rottweiler. Jody and I tuckered him out. He passed out where he stood
