^ yeah I missed that post Nate, sorry to hear that man. On the bright side, after a couple of weeks a good ankle scope (if thats the procedure you're having) can make a real positive difference. I know, I've had 5 of 'em. Buck up dude!
Its strange how some guys get masses of support messages for stuff like this, and some don't..

Lets hope you don't have to turn to surgery brother…. Dont be bummed but just go to the specialist and take it from there. Let us know of any news afterwards.
If you need something to cheer you up... I'll let you barrow some of my wham albums

hahah hopefully it doesnt come to that

if you are reasonably young it is unusual to have significant degenerative change in your ankle (or another joint for that matter) without prior trauma or some other underlying cause, if it were me I would want an MRI before I considered surgery or other intervention, if it came to that

Sucks to hear. Keep your head up, I'm sure it'll all be fine.

Do you use laundry nets/bags for inside your washer?
-
That does suck. Is it in the front? I did that to a couple of shirts, and it took me a while to figure out that the shirt was getting crushed between my belt buckle and counters at work. Switching buckles made the problem go away.
Oh and if you're thinking of trying to fix it, Jimmy did step by step photos of how to sew up holes on tee shirts. It's around here somewhere. I'll try to find it…

I use mesh bags for my laundry just as an added measure against them snagging in the machine. Another great idea from my wife

el, what are your thoughts on the Strike Gold tee (beside the hole of course)?
weight, construction & fit are my main concerns. thanks
-
Yeah, that's a real kick in the nuts.
Found that tee shirt repair post by Jimmy I was remembering. Unfortunately, the pics are gone now. May still be helpful, though.

Its about the same weight as IH Loopwheeled tees. Construction is flawless. And the fit would be impossible for you.
I wear an XL in the strike gold tees, and a Medium in the IH tees.

Thanks Chris!
I'm not brave enough to try this without photos showing me what to do, so I'm just gonna live with it.
