I just got these and I'm super impressed. It's exactly what I was hoping for, a heavy alternative to denim. I'll post some fit pics after they settle. I got a waist 34, hemmed to 32.5.

These pants are seriously heavy. After wearing these, my vulcans feel like Levi's. I also did a scratch test on a scrap, but it would really fade. It got super shiny. I have a feeling these will soften up ridiculously by next winter.

These also keep there shape amazingly well.  It feels a little stiffer than the flagship 21oz.

FYI, this fabric behaves like cotton duck (per G's advice), so when you wash and dry, do it delicately. If you don't, you will get white fades on the fabric. I washed and dried mine twice and on the second dry, it made the marks.  It's nothing big though, they will wear off with a few months wear.

Looks great on you Mike C. Thanks for the advice, i haven't washed mine yet.

I actually didn't believe they would fade that much, but after only 15-20 days of wear, i see the first signs.

Never thought my love for denim would find competition, but these sure changed that.

Just wondering if you noticed any shrink when you washed them?  Did they go in the drier?

Ridiculously heavy. The reverse cotton satin feels like half the weight.  You probably won't need the 705 for your weather. If you want some serge cargoes, 12oz-14oz serge cargoes are coming out in the spring.  704s also don't hold shape like the 705s.
