I think that RJB denim fades so beautifully and you will end up with amazing jeans in a year or two. Easily one of the nicest fabrics out there. I'm just put off by RJB's standard arcs and patch which aesthetically are not my thing at all.

Yeah, in my opinion, rjb has equally or better fading characteristics than IH. I actually really dig the individual stuff on rjb, especially the sword embroidery and patch. But to each his own!

Sorry mate if I missed this, but can you tell me your usual size in IH denim?  Im looking for a size comparison here, and not interested in sufu fit, im all about comfort

I would recommend size up one from your usual IH size

I'm a true 31, and went for a 31 in these. They're definitely on the tighter side but I really like the fit. I thought the page on SE was exaggerating when they said they were designed to be comfortable even if they're slim but golly were they right…!  You could probably size up 1 if the waist isn't too big and still get a nice slimmish fit.

I did too….I was between that and the blue 48 and decided on the 48 because I didn't like the idea of a super bright shirt....someone here should cop it and prove me wrong!

I have a bright LVC flannel, I like it, but yeah its a little odd having a bright flannel.
